The '80s was definitely the decade for excess...a decade of decadence. But it also brought us, the audience, some of the most memorable movies and characters.
All you have to do is mention your favorite horror/slasher by name...Jason, Freddy, Michael, Leatherface, Angela...and memories of wonderful blood soaked images come to mind.
Plus, some of the most imaginitive means of death are remembered as well.
Big hair, lots of parties, drinking & sex....usually lead up to a high body count. Some people never seem to learn; if they did, we wouldn't have the films to watch then!
